Repaying Your Student Loans

Exit Counseling Requirement

Students are required to complete Exit Counseling each time you drop below half-time, graduate, or leave school.  Exit counseling can be completed at studentaid.gov.  If necessary, the Direct Loan Exit Counseling Guide can be reviewed and the Student Contact Information and Acknowledgement form can be completed and submitted to our office.  

Your Federal Direct Student Loan Information

To obtain information regarding your Federal Student Loans including how much you owe, who your lender is, and if your loan is being serviced by a servicer other than your lender please visit:

Your Private Student Loan Information

To obtain lender information on Private loans you can review your credit report at http://www.annualcreditreport.com.  You can also contact the Financial Aid Department with any questions regarding your Private Education Loan lender at 419-998-3140 or financialaid@unoh.edu

Repayment Plan Options

Your repayment plan determines how much you pay each month, including what you may pay in interest over the life of the loan. For information on repayment plan options please visit:

Deferment and Forbearance

Are you returning to school, military duty, or experiencing economic hardship or unemployment? Deferments and forbearances allow you to temporarily postpone or reduce your Federal Student Loan payments. For more information please visit:
