Counseling Center

The University of Northwestern Ohio's Counseling Center provides mental health counseling services for all students. The Counseling Center, as part of the larger University community, is dedicated to the personal, social, and academic development of all UNOH students. The Center provides services within a safe, supportive, and confidential environment. We strive to empower students to develop the awareness, values, and skills they will need to meet future challenges and lead meaningful lives.

The primary focus of the Counseling Center is to provide the highest quality individual and group counseling to students struggling with problems common to a college population. The Center also serves as an assessment and referral source for students with more serious and chronic psychological difficulties. The Counseling Center also engages in active outreach efforts across campus that focus on prevention and that maximize the potential of all students to benefit from the academic environment.
