Instructor in Health Information Technology Department - On Campus


Full-Time, Twelve-Month Faculty Position, Beginning Winter 2019 (January) and beyond

The individual will have primary responsibility for teaching various health information technology courses at the associate degree undergraduate level on our campus in Lima, Ohio. The position also consists of the administrative function of Program Director. The Program Director of the educational program must be responsible for the organization, administration, continuous program review, planning, development and general effectiveness of the program. Faculty teaching schedules are a combination of day and virtual classes. In addition to teaching excellence, faculty members are evaluated based on service to the community, service to the university and professional / scholarly activity.

Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

At minimum, potential new hires will possess a baccalaureate degree in health information management/technology from a regionally accredited institution, with RHIT or RHIA certification. Preference will be given to master’s degree candidates.
