About UNOH

Inclement Weather Delay Policy

Occasionally during the winter months it may be necessary to close the University because of inclement weather. Text messages will be sent to those people who have registered their cell number and/or email address to receive Racer Alerts.

If you have not already done so, sign up today for the Racer Alerts! emergency text messaging notification system! It is designed to instantly reach cell phones and other mobile devices when an urgent campus situation needs to be communicated. In the event of an emergency, a text message will be sent to the mobile number and/or e-mail address registered with the system.

Register for Racer Alerts through the UNOH portal at http://my.unoh.edu.

UNOH students, faculty and staff can register by going to the UNOH portal, clicking on the Quick Links tab, then Racer Alerts under Online Services, then entering your mobile number and/or e-mail address of choice. You will receive a text message confirming that you have opted into the alert system to receive emergency notifications.

Messages will also be on the voice mailbox at 419-998-9689 and on WCIT (940 AM; 104.9 FM) and WLIO-TV.
