The University of Northwestern Ohio realizes that student activities are an important part of the University experience. To provide the activities required by ever-expanding enrollments, the University has a gymnasium, fitness center, and Student Commons.

The gymnasium is available for sporting events, intramural sports, entertainment groups, visiting lecturers and other special programs.

The Student Commons contains a 25-seat movie theater, two pool tables, a ping-pong table, a card table, and an electronic dart board. Thirteen televisions are positioned throughout the Commons for students to enjoy their favorite programs. Seven computer stations with internet access are also available for students to use in the Commons.

The fitness center offers a variety of cardio equipment, weight lifting machines, and free weights.

These facilities provide excellent opportunities for activities that develop skills in leadership and responsibility and activities that are necessary for success in the business world. They provide the necessary cultural, social, and recreational events for a productive life.

All hours of operation are posted in their respective areas.

The University also offers a wide variety of special events throughout the year. The University also plans activities to help new students become better acquainted upon arrival to campus.
