Program details:
- There two (2) start dates for the MBA program -
fall and spring.
- Spring 2008 classes will meet on Wednesdays, Fall 2008 classes will meet on Tuesdays, and Spring 2009 classes will meet on Thursdays.
- Courses meet one night a week (6 – 10 p.m.). Alternating
courses every other week for a total of 5 meetings per course per quarter. Some courses are offered online
- The program can be completed in 18 months at full-time status (2
courses per quarter).
- Cost: $385.00 per credit hour (this includes textbooks). Financial
Aid is available.
- Transferring credits accepted: 8
- Total courses: 12 (8 required, 3 electives, & 1 capstone)
Acceptance Requirements:
- All students with a 3.0 or higher receive full and unconditional
admittance into the program (20-25 total student maximum).
- For provisional admittance, students must have between a 2.5 – 2.99
GPA.
- There will be a spontaneous writing sample either done on campus
or with a proctor. If a student’s writing sample is reviewed
as below acceptable, the student would need to take a required writing
module or course as a deficiency requirement.
- In order to graduate, a student must have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Students
must also maintain a 3.0 average in their coursework.
- If a student receives a “D” in a course, that course
must be retaken to receive credit.
The areas listed as prerequisites are:
- MBA400 Writing – if the student’s
writing sample from the admission’s process
is not at or above an acceptable level the student
will be required to take this module.
- MBA410 Information Technology
- MBA420 Marketing
- MBA430 Accounting
- MBA440 Economics
- MBA450 Finance
These courses will be offered in modules for pass/fail credit in four
weeks and online or can be taken as a traditional course for credit.
You will have to purchase books for these modules at a minimum cost. You
are required to take these modules if your transcript does not reflect

Graduate Orientation Information
Orientation is held the first week of the quarter from
6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in room 1130. Students are given their
textbooks and instructors review general program requirements,
such as:
- Class meeting times
- Contact hours
- University email accounts
- Instructor introductions
- Writing Samples/MBA400 Writing Module
- Prerequisite modules
