IT Support Technician

Description


The University of Northwestern Ohio is seeking qualified applicants for the position of IT Support Technician in the Information Technology Department.

Primary responsibilities of this position include: installing and upgrading desktop systems; diagnosing and repairing hardware and software break/fail conditions; and managing information technology assets and work orders.

Requirements


The ideal candidate should have an associate’s degree in a computer-related field, or other equivalent degree or professional experience and should possess: strong computer technology, communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills; experience with PC technologies and the most popular software packages used in business; professional ethics; and the ability to keep information confidential as necessary.
