Director of the Library

Description


The University of Northwestern Ohio is seeking an enthusiastic leader with a commitment to serving students in a wide variety of educational programs for its Director of the Library.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: developing and implementing programming and policies in keeping with the university and library missions, collaborating with faculty and promoting library resources and services, providing direction for the library’s instructional program, assessing library services and resources, maintaining and evaluating the collection, selecting and cataloging library materials, designing systems and facilities for improved service, continuing the library’s cooperative participation in the OhioLINK consortium, and overseeing the library staff.


Requirements


Knowledge of OhioLINK/SearchOhio and Millenium are essential.

Qualifications include a Masters degree in Library/Information Science from an ALA-accredited program.
