If I had an IEP
in high school, will I be able to use it
while I am at UNOH? If so, what do
I need to do?
Students who were on an
IEP or 504 plan can submit their most
current education plan, with the accommodations
listed, along with their most current psychological
testing (no more than 3 years
old) to the Academic Skills Coordinator.
Do I mail the
information or can I fax it?
The documentation can
be faxed or mailed. Please make sure
they are addressed to the attention of Danielle
Myers.
When should the
information be sent to the Academic Skills
Coordinator?
We would like to have the
documentation on file before your orientation
date, but if that is not possible we ask
that you bring the materials with you to
orientation. If you are having difficulties
sending the information, please bring the
documentation with you when you arrive at
UNOH and submit it to Danielle Myers upon
your arrival.
Is tutoring available
and how much does it cost?
Tutoring is available
to all students. It is a peer tutoring
system and the students are paired up with
other students who have already taken the
course. The overall cost is $8/hour,
but UNOH is committed to helping you succeed
and pays for half of that cost, meaning the
student only pays $4/hour for tutoring. All
tutoring fees are billed through the Cashier’s
Office.
