Bookstore Assistant


The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: ensuring parcel packages are delivered to the proper recipients on campus and performing all other duties and responsibilities as needed to aid the bookstore personnel.

Bookstore Clerk


The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: selling books to students, operating cash register, assisting with inventory, preparing shelves for books, answering the phone, preparing nightly deposit, and performing all other duties to aid bookstore personnel in the performance of their jobs.

Cyber Café (Food Service) Personnel


The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: preparing food according to customer orders, operating cash register, maintaining clean work environment, and performing all other duties to aid Cyber Café personnel in the performance of their jobs.

Gym Attendant


The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: monitoring gym activities, assisting the Student Activities Coordinator with various activities inside and outside the gym, and performing all other duties and responsibilities as needed to aid the Student Activities Coordinator.

IT Lab Assistants


To assist students, faculty, and staff with any problems they might have with their work or the computer itself. The assistant is responsible for maintaining computers and enforcing the rules of the computer lab.

Maintenance Assistant


The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: maintaining a clean campus by performing daily trash pickup and mowing. He/she will do restaurant deliveries, errands, and pickups. The assistant will also clean lounges, show dorms, do small paint jobs, remove snow, and perform all other duties assigned by supervisor.

Print Shop Personnel


The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: copying/duplicating of materials for University personnel as directed, answering/directing phone calls at front desk, directing visitors to appropriate offices, and performing all other duties and responsibilities as needed to aid Student Services personnel in the performance of their job.

Registrar Filer


Have excellent typing skills, computer literate, pays close attention to details. Will be working closely with the registrar, filing documents and scanning in documents. Professionalism a must.

Shop Assistant (Parts Runner)


The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: transporting and securing parts and equipment for the College of Technologies, delivery of interoffice communications, transporting mail to the Business Office, assisting in maintaining order on the shop floor, and performing all other duties and responsibilities as needed to aid the Dean or other College of Technologies personnel in the performance of their duties.

Student Secretary (Afternoon)


To oversee the College of Business front desk in the afternoon (1 pm - 5 pm) and Saturdays (8 am - 1 pm). Typing for Dean of the College of Business, Director of Human Resources, and faculty, processing enrollments, printing acceptance and conditional acceptance letters, pulling folders for transcript purposes, and preparing outgoing mail.

Student Secretary (Evening)


This position will oversee the College of Business front desk in the evening (5:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.) and Saturday (8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.). The duties include filing for incoming students, preparing transcript request forms/labels, and completing incoming student changes: transfers, cancellations, major changes, folder changes, and sending letters if necessary. The assistant will send major letters, type for the Dean of the College of Business, the Director of Human Resources, and the night faculty. He/she is also responsible for transferring maintenance problems to appropriate personnel, relaying messages from evening faculty to the Dean of the College of Business and locking up the Business Building with the assistance of a security officer.

Student Services Assistant


The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: filing financial aid paperwork, answering /directing phone calls at front desk, directing visitors to appropriate offices, and performing all other duties and responsibilities as needed to aid Student Services personnel in the performance of their job.

Tour Guides


The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: providing campus tours to guests and potential students and performing all other duties and responsibilities as needed to aid the Director of Admissions.

Tutoring (Off Campus) at Quest Academy and Northwood/Maplewood Learning Center


Will read to and interact with elementary–age children in the classroom setting. All tutors will be expected to act professionally and follow the policies and procedures of the University of Northwestern Ohio and the on-site agency.
